Did George Stinney Jr deserve to be electrocuted for the murders?
Execution
On 16 June 1944, Stinney was executed by electrocution. He was such a small-bodied boy. He was too small to fit into the electric chair. Books had to be added to the seat so he could be appropriately strapped into the electric chair for the electrocution. Tears could be seen flowing down his cheeks. When the electric current was turned on, Stinney did not die immediately. He suffered for over five minutes.
