Leap Castle, Ireland - the most haunted castle in the world
Located in County Offaly, Ireland, Leap Castle's origins can be traced back over 700 years. It is famous as the most haunted castle in the world.

Another resident spirit, Lady Margaret, is said to haunt the castle's Bloody Chapel. Known for her tragic demise, Lady Margaret met her untimely end when she was thrown from the chapel's battlements during a dispute. Visitors claim to have experienced an icy presence and heard disembodied footsteps echoing through the chapel, as if Lady Margaret's spirit mourns her tragic fate.

But it is not just the elemental and Lady Margaret who roam Leap Castle's corridors. Numerous other spirits are believed to inhabit its halls, each with their own story to tell. The Red Lady, a former prisoner who was stabbed to death within the castle, is said to wander the castle grounds in search of justice. The O'Carroll ghost, a victim of a jealous rival in love, is often seen wearing a bright red gown.
